2022 Recipient

Srijesa Khasnabish, OMS-IV
New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine
"Thank you for making the SOMA Women in Medicine Scholarship possible. My name is Srijesa (Sree-jay-sa) and I am fourth year medical student at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. I grew up in Lexington, MA and attended Boston University, where I studied neuroscience and public health. To my surprise, a few institutions are conducting in person residency program interviews this year. It is due to the generosity of your funds that I will be able to travel to these interviews. I aspire to "pay it forward" and help medical students in the future in their journey to becoming a physician."
